I have my first beautiful home!

I have been living my new home for a bit over 2 months. I love my home! Here is what it has: 3 Bedrooms, 2.5 Baths, 1 office, 1 laundry room, jacuzzi, built in entertainment center, and much more. It has gorgeous pillars in our living room and this makes it look great.

Frederick wrote (drew) the letters c, e, and d all by himself. I drew that triange as a model for him. He drew one on the bottom, but it is not visible.

I am working as a first year teacher and have passed my tough TeXes English 8-12 (formerly known as the Excet). I still need to pass my Professional Pedagogy 8-12 Exam in order to be completely cerfied. Plus: Complete my 1 year program with ACT RGV.

He figured out how to get on his "Gobble Hippo" some days ago. He never gets on it the right way because I haven't pulled the seat down:( He still figured out how to sit backwards. Here he is w/ a lemon in his hand, he thinks it's a ball, it's huge!

What I want to do before I die

Our 1st White X-mas

It snowed in South Texas for the 1st time since '67. It snowed a bit in '98 but it didn't even stick so it didn't count! It was amazing! We truly had a white x-mas that may not ever come again!

Frederick with the first X-mas gift that he opened this year. A LeapFrog Hug and Learn Baby Tad from his Grandma Blanca, my mother. He liked it because it plays "Itsy Bitsy" and Twinkle Little Star" which are songs I have always sung to him. Oh 2nd toy actually! He had already opened up a remote control Escalade truck from his other grandma and he threw it so much that we didn't even get it to work! She didn't save the receipt:=(

You never fail to amaze me!

While Fred and I were sleeping Frederick actually escaped from us and went around the house doing who knows what! Everyone was asleep except him! We discovered that he was gone when I was awaken by him pushing another door leading into our room. Fred's drums were there so this door was banging on them. I cannot believe he did this! We will have to be very careful with him from now on! Extremely careful!

Later, after all this we took him to the dentist for the very first time! He cried his head off! Well not literally, but almost! They cleaned his teeth and told us to take him off the bottle in 10 days! I hope that we can accomplish this and be sane by the end of it! He really needs it to go to sleep, but he threw a fit today in the morning when we tried to give it to him.
He is doing so many things now! Opening doors, much our dismay:=( Climbing those two tables, rocking on the rocking chair standing up, sitting on it, while looking so adorable. He is also into things that Fred and I like. Fred is always checking out his tires and now Frederick does this. He also plays the drums and lil Freddy drums too! I love love love books, and you will catch Frederick flipping the pages on every book that he will find. Just like his momma and dada.

I will be using this blog for almost everything about Frederick and for pictures. It is easier for me to upload pix because of the Hello program. School is so close to being over and I am just relaxing a bit and spending time with Frederick. We have been notified that we might be able to get help to pay for Frederick's daycare. That would be a big help because I am taking my final 15 hrs. and Fred is taking 9 and that is a lot for him because they give him a lot of hours at Walgreens, which is where he works as a Pharmacy Tech. Frederick has had a couple of tantrums today because he loves to put everything in his mouth and we don't let him. Hopefully he stops this habit that is not good for him at all!

I just have one more final left and it is on the 16th. I am going to have so much time to play with my sweet lil boy. I can't wait! I feel as though I ignore him sometimes and I feel so bad for it but I really need to do my schoolwork and do it right! Oh well, I am finally free to relax, play with him, and hopefully read stuff that I want to read.

Precious Frederick
One of the first pix that I took of my son! He is showing his four little teeth with an adorable smile just for me! I bought a Kodak EasyShare CX7300 at around midnight last night. It records short video clips too and I love it! My battery is already dead! Fred and I went to see National Treasure, and I thought that it was great! It was very fast paced at the beginning but it turned out to be awesome. Then we went to Applebee's and from there we went to get the cam. We hadn't gone to a movie in ages so that was nice! We left him with his "Tita" and he cried when we left. He was dragging us by the hand to the front door because he thought that he was going! My poor baby! We seriously needed a break. We are so bad though! We have gone to Mcallen every single day! Even when I don't have classes! The semester is practically over and I am so glad for that. I plan on spending tons of time with my sweet lil boy. I really want to read to him a lot and play ball with him since it is what he loves the most. Today at Subway a worker gave him a free soccer ball and I thought that that was so nice! Well, gotta go work on my final papers!

Frederick is teething and is now getting a molar on the left side and far back. I though that was weird because I thought his teeth would be growing in order! He had fever since Halloween so we weren't able to take him trick-or-treating:( The clinics were closed so we ended up taking him to the ER and from there they sent us to a clinic inside the hospital. They gave him penicillin and he might have been allergic to this because he got a rash a day later. He seemed to be better with other medicines that he got but now he pooped so horribly all over his Bugs Bunny slippers, clothes, and socks, and also the floor. I planned on taking him to visit his aunt and gramma tomorrow but after that poop I am not so sure. I thought he was better already?!Kids surprise you at times, I have now realized!
